ECLIPSE + EQUINOX | Nadabrahma Meditation
Known as the “humming meditation”, this practice deeply connects us to the manifesting power of intention + creation through sound, and vibration.
A particularly powerful practice to call upon during potent celestial events such as the New Moon Eclipse in Virgo + Autumnal Equinox on Sept. 21st/22nd.
A time of suspension, stillness, deep listening as we rest in the balance of light + dark.
A time of dreaming, intuition, & fertile soil for planting new seeds of spiritual commitment to the full embodiment of our dharmic path, our deepest & truest expression realized.
7:00-9:00pm

MORE DETAILS ABOUT THE MEDITATION:
Nadabrahma, also known as “the humming meditation", derives from the Sanskrit "Nada", "sound" or "vibration", and "Brahma", the hindu deity of "creation" or "the creator". Therefore, Nadabrahma is a subtle meditation connecting us to the power of creation and energy through sound, or vibration.
The Meditation will last 1HR and consist of 3 stages. We will be seated with the eyes closed for the majority of the meditation, and some time will be spent before the practice to build the foundation for a grounded and aligned seated position.
The 3 stages of the Meditation are as follows >>
Stage 1 = Humming - the first 30min of the practice will be spent activating the energy centers and pathways throughout the body. We achieve this by first opening (through deep - connected breath) and engaging (through the vibrational energy - humming) the central axis of the energetic body, also known as Sushumna. As time goes on we begin to feel this vibrational activation spread to all corners of the body.
Stage 2 = Giving and Receiving energy throughout the body - this is achieved by the symbolic, slow and intentional movement of the hands, first out from the heart w/ the palms facing up, and then into the heart with the palms facing down.
Stage 3 = Silence (optional Savasana). Feel the subtle sensations + movement of energy. Fall into resonant bliss.
Live sound is traditionally used as a tool to increase the intensity of vibrational energy in the room/body. Therefore the first two stages of the meditation will be accompanied by *live* Tibetan Singing/Struck Bowls, Tingshas, Crystal Bowls, Shruti Box & Chinese Gong. The final stage is always spent in stillness and silence.
